Prime Global Energies Limited Executes Petroleum Concession Agreement for Sukhpur-II Block

Karachi, Pakistan – December 2, 2025 – Prime Global Energies Limited (Prime) is pleased to announce the successful execution of the Petroleum Concession Agreement (PCA) for the Sukhpur-II Block.
The PCA was signed on December 2, 2025, with Prime appointed as the Operator for the joint venture, which includes esteemed partners: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Mari Energies Limited, and Turkish Petroleum Overseas Company.
The working interests of the partners are as follows : Prime Global Energies Limited: 25%, OGDCL: 30%, Mari Energies Limited: 30% and Turkish Petroleum Overseas Company: 15%
The signing ceremony took place in Islamabad and coincided with the official visit of Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar. The event was witnessed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, underscoring the strategic importance of the project.
The Sukhpur-II Block, spanning 2057.38 square kilometres, is strategically located in the Kirthar Foldbelt Basin, Sindh. This acquisition significantly complements Prime’s extensive operations in the Kirthar Foldbelt region, where the company has successfully operated for over 30 years.
Prime will now commence the development of a comprehensive exploration work program, leveraging existing data and its three decades of regional expertise to rapidly assess the block’s potential.
