Purpose of the Role
To assist Maintenance Superintendent to maintain the plant equipment in good working condition to achieve sale gas targets. Assist Maintenance Superintendent in long term planning and responsible for day-to-day planning and scheduling of maintenance works. Ensure the compliance of company safety policy and contribute in eliminating and reducing risk involved in the jobs.
Principal Accountabilities
• Personal involvement and supervision of all Instrument maintenance activities at central facility and wellheads.
• To assist Instrument departments in performance checks, spare parts review and record keeping as required.
• Ensure safe working condition of all fire and gas control and ESD system.
• To carry out the joint meters inspection with SSGC and ensure that the calibration of fiscal metering equipment is maintained throughout the year.
• To ensure efficient running and maintenance of gas turbine and compressors auxiliaries and controls and DCS.
• Provide hands-on guidance to Assistant Instrument Engineers as and when required.
• Review spares required for the corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Co-ordinate with warehouse for the improvement of inventory system.
• Review all the preventive maintenance procedures critically and develop procedures for each maintenance activity.
• Provide assistance for major maintenance works such as shutdown, Troubleshooting of major equipment such as compressor and other works if assigned to him.
