Kamran has an illustrious career spanning over 35 years, with a 25-year commitment to the company in various capacities.

In 1997 Kamran joined the Company, in the Finance function and over the years, he progressed to leadership roles and was responsible for Project Finance, Budget and Planning, Commercial, Legal and Business Development Departments. He was seconded to Libya to look after the Project finance function of a multibillion-barrel oil field development.

Following Eni’s (now Prime Pakistan Ltd) decision to exit Pakistan, Kamran embarked on a remarkable endeavor of acquiring the Eni businesses through a buyout scheme. He spearheaded the establishment of a new entity, Prime International Oil and Gas Company Limited (PIOGCL), with the goal of acquiring 100% ownership of Eni businesses in Pakistan. Recognizing that a corporate partner was needed to add financial depth to PIOGCL, HUBCO was selected as a strategic partner.

In order to make the acquisition effective Kamran played an instrumental role in putting together a joint venture comprising of equal ownership between the Employee Buyout (EBO) Group and HUBCO.

Currently in the capacity of CEO of the Company, he is playing a transformative role by overseeing the transition from a multinational corporation (MNC) to a local entity.

Kamran is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
