The Gas Processing Plant is located in Nara Taluka, Sindh, Pakistan. The plant has been operational since March 2003. It is a state-of-the-art sour gas processing plant that has a processing capacity of 450 MMscf of gas per day. The plant processes gas from Sawan field (South West Miano Block) and Latif, Bitro, Jugan and Mohar fields (Latif Block).
Zamzama Plant and gas field are located in the Dadu Concession, Sindh Province, Pakistan. Zamzama plant has a capacity of processing 550mmscf gas per day. The field is in the foreland of the Kirthar fold belt, approximately 200km North of Karachi. Zamzama discovery was made in April 1998 and as of 30th June 2023, the field has cumulatively produced 1,738 billion cubic feet (BCF) of natural gas. Joint Venture partners in Zamzama include OPPL (Operator), Prime, Kufpec, Al-Haj Energy and GHPL.
Latif Exploratory License was awarded on 23rd October, 200. The block is located in the Middle Indus Basin in Sindh Province of Pakistan.
Multiple discoveries have already been made in the block including Latif, Latif South, Bitro, Jugan, Khanan and Mohar.
Further efforts are ongoing to exploit the block to its maximum potential.
