Overall Purpose of the Job
To assist Inspection & Corrosion Engineer in performing inspection & certification activities at plant and wellheads to ensure that integrity of facilities/equipment is maintained as specified by the design codes.
Data acquisition & analysis of key plant parameters using latest condition monitoring instruments and accepted industry practices to provide basis for predictive maintenance and reliability enhancement program in consultation with Inspection Engineer.
Principal Accountabilities
Carry out Field & On-line vibration analyses to monitor health of running machines. Suggesting remedial measures to prevent potential problems and define appropriate monitoring frequencies.
Perform piping, pressure vessels, tanks and heat exchanger inspections during shutdown and normal operations.
Perform NDT techniques (PT, MT, UT, UFD, RT, and HT) and to develop procedures for welding, welder qualification, Hydraulic Test, Pneumatic Test & Leak test.
Conduct corrosion rate monitoring (weight loss coupons, ER probes) and PSP survey of cathodic protection system health assessment.
Perform thickness monitoring surveys of Plant and wellhead piping, vessels, tanks and heat exchangers.
Carry out Bioscopy inspection, scaffolding inspection, lifting gears inspections and PSV calibration / Testing.
Implement and utilize Inspection Manager Software for streamlining the records of Inspection activities.
Candidate Profile
Candidate must have minimum 8-10 years of experience.
Experienced professional required from Oil & Gas/ Fertilizer/Refinery industry having hands-on experience to carry out Inspection related activities at Plant & Wellheads with special focus on Asset Integrity.
Hands on experience of inspection techniques (vibration data collection/ analysis, CP system, Corrosion Monitoring Systems. Knowledge of International standards such as ASME, API, NACE etc
The candidate should be conversant with permit to work (PTW) procedure and ERP systems preferably SAP.
