Principal Accountabilities
• To manage all maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability to meet gas sales contractual nominations.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, managing spare parts, organizing shutdowns and inspections, and maintaining all technical records and compliance certifications
• To arrange vendor maintenance inspections and overhauls of equipment following liaison with the production department to ensure availability of equipment.
• Establish balance between vendor service contracts and own trades to ensure maintenance activities are cost effective.
• As On Scene Coordinator (OSC) attend the incident either on, or offsite. Provide initial situation reports to the BBEMT advising on the need for additional resources. Coordinate the efforts at the scene of various groups depending on the specific incident (e.g. HSE for sills, Field Doctor for serious injuries).
• The OSC maintains communications with the BBEMT and provides clear direction to the ERT/ORT to ensure the tactical response is applied to meet the objectives set by the BBEMT.
• To provide input to annual operating and maintenance budget.
• As Process Owner for implementation of company guidelines, identification of gaps in existing Maintenance system & updation of Bhit maintenance procedures.
• As Maintenance Champion for implementation of Asset Integrity Management system, review / updation of existing Asset Integrity & other associated Procedures
Candidate Profile
• Engineering degree. Minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry in maintenance of high-pressure process and utility equipment including wellheads, turbines, gas compressors, process vessels, gas/diesel engines, High Voltage power generations and distribution systems, control systems, HVAC etc.
• Should have held similar management position previously.
• Experience in remote environment operations essential.
