Principal Accountabilities
• Personal involvement and supervision of all mechanical maintenance activities at central facility and wellheads.
• To ensure efficient running and maintenance of well head installations, both machinery and equipment.
• Maintain the house-keeping and orderliness of maintenance workshop.
• Provide hands-on guidance to maintenance staff as and when required.
• Make daily report on the progress of maintenance activities at well head and submit to Mechanical Engineer.
• Ensuring safe working condition of all rigging and lifting equipment and vehicles.
• Coordinate with W/H for the improvement of inventory system.
• Review all the PM maintenance procedure critically and assist Mechanical Engineer to develop procedures for each maintenance activity.
• Assist Mechanical Engineer to prepare all the necessary paper work for shutdown related works.
• Responsible of updating the lifting equipment record at well heads.
• Should be involved in the major maintenance works such as plant shutdown, maintenance jobs on machinery, piping and other stationary equipment. He shall also assist in other works assigned to him.
• To monitor equipment performance using built in techniques to establish the most cost effective maintenance program.
• To participate in Risk Assessments of all maintenance jobs to highlight potential hazards and incorporating precautionary measures to reduce risks.
• To develop investigation reports on relevant incidents with recommendations to avoid recurrence.
• Provide assistance to Fire Chief in handling emergency situations at the well heads. Train contractor staff on emergency response and mustering procedures. Assist Fire Chief and OSC in deciding on the best strategy for controlling the incident at site.
Candidate Profile
• Degree in mechanical engineering with 08 years of experience in maintenance in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry.
• Strong maintenance and trouble-shooting skills on reciprocating compressors and industrial engines.
• Should have held similar managerial position previously.
• Experience in remote environment operations essential.
