Karachi, Pakistan – April 30, 2025 – Prime Global Energies Limited (formerly Prime Pakistan Limited, “Prime”) today, announced the successful acquisition of two onshore blocks through a competitive bidding process in the “Pakistan Onshore Bid Round 2025”. This strategic move underscores Prime’s commitment to expanding its operational footprint and strengthening its position as a leading Exploration and Production (E&P) company.
Prime, partnered with industry leaders for these strategic acquisitions, pertinent details are as follows:
Sukhpur Block: A joint venture with Mari Energies Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and Turkish Petroleum Overseas Company with Prime appointed as the Operator; and
Naing Block: A joint venture with OGDCL as the Operator.
Both the Sukhpur and Naing Blocks are strategically located in the Kirthar Fold belt Basin, a region where Prime has a well-established operational history of over 30 years. The proximity of the Bhit Gas Processing facilities positions Prime for efficient monetization of future gas discoveries within these blocks.
